Continence Continuity is a progressive service that provides you with video or telephone consultations to allow for your privacy. This service helps busy people to manage their day with flexibility providing an appointment time that suits you.

You will speak directly with Nurse Continence Specialist, Sara Derksen, a consultant in bladder and bowel health since 2015. With over 30 years of nursing experience in Australia, the U.K., and Canada, Sara highly experienced in assessing children and adults and understands the client’s perspective through her lived experience in the continence field. Since 2019, she has also worked closely with families of neurodiverse children.

To book an appointment

Call or email Sara to set up your appointment. She will send you the necessary referral documentation to complete.

Face-to-face appointments are available for clients within an hour and a half from Sara’s home, if you are further she may recommend a nurse who is closer.

The appointment

Your appointment will take at least one hour. You will receive a comprehensive report with recommendations, a continence product list with quote (if products are needed). Samples and education are part of this service based on your child’s needs.
